The Domain is Austin’s new favorite spot for everything from shopping, to dining, to luxury living spaces.  While all things Domain are top shelf, I’m especially excited about the bars!  Check out this list of some of my favorite ways to have an excellent night out at The Domain.   

Wonder Bar

Wonder Bar is one of those places that you KNOW from the time you walk in that you’re going to have an amazing time!  This bar features interactive installations with themes that rotate throughout the year.  The drinks even complement the installations so you can fully immerse yourself into Wonder Bars whimsical ambiance.


Lavaca Street Bar at Rock Rose

Lavaca Street Bar is one of Austin’s favorite local dives, and with a location in The Domain, the good times are only getting better!  While you’re enjoying one of their specialty cocktails or a beer, order up some snacks from Flyrite Chicken and allow yourself to escape into this classic sports bar.


The Dogwood

The Dogwood spreads the good times across 2 floors of indoor and outdoor spaces, including their rooftop!  Grab your friends and let the Southern hospitality at this bar make you feel right at home.  If you happen to “have a little too much fun” the night before, head back to The Dogwood and let the selections from their Hangover Menu help you reset (there’s even a Texas-Sized Mimosa if you need a bit of the hair of the dog!)


77° Rooftop

There’s no doubt that The Domain offers some of the best nightlight Austin has to offer.  But when you’re looking for a place to dance and drink that offers a party that rises above the rest, look no further than 77° Rooftop: The ultimate party at The Domain!  This 21+ club is 3 stories of dance floors, club vibes, and even hookah-rentals with an array of transcendent flavors. After you’ve worked up an appetite on the dance floors, make sure to order up some finger foods and tapas (and maybe a cocktail to rehydrate!) to complete your night out! 


Punch Bowl Social
11310 Domain Drive

Take date night up to top shelf levels at Punch Bowl Social!  Order up one of their signature punch bowls (It’s more than just a cute name after all!) and choose from any of their fun activities like bowling, old school arcade games, super-sized Scrabble, karaoke, or even a 9 hole mini-golf.  If your date goes well, there’s even a photo booth to capture the memories!  After you’ve totally dominated the mini-golf course or sung your heart out at karaoke, order up some of their amazing snacks like Sriracha Peanut Dirty Fries, Cauliflower Nachos, or my favorite, the Roasted Chicken Tacos!

   
Kung Fu Saloon

Kung Fu Saloon is The Domain’s go-to spot for 80s themed, neon good times!  Retro arcade games line the wall (there’s even a working Zoltar machine!) and karaoke jams fill the air at this nostalgic nightlife spot in the heart of one of the most modern areas of Austin.  While you’re there, make sure to order one of their famous Pickle Shots (and maybe even some Cap’n Crunch Fried Pickles with Sriracha ranch! Pickles are a whole dill there….see what I did?!)


Yard House

There’s bars…and then there’s Yard House!  This is a beer lovers dream spot for a night out.  You’ll love the classic rock tracks that play while you try some of their over 80 local and international beers.  If you’re like me, when there’s beer, there’s snacks too!  Yard House has a large, globally inspired menu that has something for everyone.  Don’t forget to check out the enclosed keg room that holds over 3,000 gallons of beer.


Little Woodrow's

If you’re looking for a sports bar that’s as dog friendly as it is fun, look no further than Little Woodrow’s on Tech Ridge!  Whether you show up for their daily happy hour or to watch a game during Tex-Mex Monday or Tall Beer Tuesday (locals know this is THE spot to catch an Austin FC game!), this bar has the exact vibe you want. Plus, the patio at Little Woodrow’s on Tech Ridge is perfect for you and your canine companion to kick back and enjoy a cold one (and a doggy treat for them!).
